風の恋

Kawai Izumi is artist and illustrator. She was born in Nagasaki, Japan. Her pencil drawings and lithographs, with their unique textures, create a world where dynamism and serenity coexist. She worked as an artist-in-residence in Paris, France for three years from 2003. Currently based in Tokyo, she works in a wide range of fields, including book design, advertising, fashion and package illustration and design, as well as numerous solo exhibitions and art fairs in Japan and abroad.
